There are several reasons why a driver license might be suspended or revoked and, depending on the circumstances, varying requirements for reinstatement. The Suspension and Revocations webpage offers detailed information about reinstating a driver license after being suspended or revoked due to unpaid traffic tickets, failure to comply or appear at a traffic summons, failure to complete a court-ordered driver improvement course, inadequate vision, being a habitual traffic offender, being delinquent in child support and more.
Do you have a family member or friend whose medical condition may make them an unsafe driver? As a concerned citizen, you may see behaviors and symptoms of medical conditions that may indicate someone is unsafe to drive. The mission of the Medical Review program is not to prevent an individual with a medical condition from driving, but to assure the condition does not interfere with the safe operation of a motor vehicle.
DMV offices are busy so you need to know your requirements and be prepared before going into an office to save yourself time. We have provided shortcuts to other drivers license types offered in Florida including a motorcycle license and commercial drivers license. If you have a traffic ticket read our Traffic School Page and if your license has been suspended for to many points go to our Habitual Traffic Offenders page.
